## What is Tephra? <a href="#eb85" id="eb85"></a>

Tephra serves as the cornerstone of Lavarage’s reward point system. It is designed to incentivize users not only to trade and (soon) provide liquidity on our platform, but also to engage with our community and help spread the word about Lavarage. Whether you are trading high stakes or contributing socially, Tephra is here to make your journey more rewarding.

## How to Earn Tephra? <a href="#id-7850" id="id-7850"></a>

The Tephra points program is designed to cover all value-add activities on our platform since its inception. These activities can be divided into the following categories (but not limited to):

* **Trading**
* **Staking**
* **Community-building**

## Program Structure (Missions)

Every two weeks, we launch a new mission, giving you fresh opportunities to boost your rewards. With about 10 missions on the horizon, there are plenty of chances to stack up on your Tephra.

During each Mission, the amount of Tephra awarded to each category and the activities within each category may change. This gives us the flexibility to optimize the effectiveness of the points program in bringing us the activities that would be the most beneficial to Lavarage at the point of time.

Wondering how many Tephra points you’ve racked up? You can view them directly on <https://app.lavarage.xyz/> next to your wallet or by selecting the ⭐ icon on mobile.
