How does the “Mission” work

The Missions are structured initiatives designed to reward users for engaging in specific activities on Lavarage. Users can earn Tephra points by trading, staking, or participating in community-building efforts. The specific activities and points allocation may vary from one Mission to another to ensure the program remains dynamic and aligned with our strategic goals.

How long will the “Missions” last?

Each Mission spans a period of two weeks. This timeframe allows users sufficient opportunity to engage with the platform meaningfully while enabling us to regularly update and optimize the activities and rewards. There will be around 8-10 Missions in total.

How are Tephra calculated?

Tephra points are calculated based on the level of user engagement in designated activities such as trading, staking, and community participation. The exact metrics for calculation may change per Mission to adapt to evolving objectives and user feedback.

Is there a cap on the number of Tephra distributed each “Mission”?

We understand that many point programs set a cap to create scarcity and generate "FOMO" among users. While setting a maximum supply makes sense for tokens, we believe points should work differently. That's why we won’t be capping Tephra points. Instead, we’ll adjust the rate at which points are distributed based on the value each activity brings during each Mission. Our goal is to encourage continuous value creation without discouraging participation at any time.

Wen Airdrop?

Specific details about airdrop are still under wraps. We encourage our users to stay active on the platform and keep an eye on our updates for the latest information.

Earning Tephra

What activities count towards earning Tephra?

Activities that count towards earning Tephra include trading on the platform, participating in staking, and engaging in community-building exercises. The eligible activities are subject to change with each new Mission based on strategic goals.

Do I get rewarded by being an early user?

Yes, early users, referred to as OG Lavanauts, have already been allocated Tephra points for their initial activities under the OG Mission. Continued participation will yield further rewards.

Do off-chain activities count? (e.g. social media and community engagements)

Yes, engaging with our community through social media and other off-chain activities can also earn you Tephra points. Specific activities and their corresponding points will be detailed at the launch of each Mission.

Where can I check my Tephra balance?

You can view your Tephra balance by logging into your account on the Lavarage platform at https://app.lavarage.xyz.

Why am I not seeing my Tephra accurately reflected?

If there is a discrepancy in your Tephra balance, it could be due to ongoing updates or a delay in the system's processing time. If the issue persists, please submit a ticket in our Discord server for assistance.

Will my Tephra expire after a certain time?

Currently, Tephra points do not expire. However, we reserve the right to introduce an expiry policy in the future, which will be communicated well in advance.

What happens when I move my Lava Rock to another wallet address?

Moving your Lava Rock to another wallet will not affect your accumulated Tephra points, as they are tied to your wallet on the Lavarage platform rather than your Lava Rock.

Are there behaviors that would disqualify me from earning points for a specific week or the duration of the program?

Yes, engaging in fraudulent activities, violating platform policies, or manipulating the system in any form will disqualify you from earning points for a specific week or potentially for the duration of the program depending on the severity of the violation.
